Embed Instagram posts without Javascript

Why?

• Price: You save loads of tokens if you only update the website a few times every day
• No Javascript: Support older browsers and screenreaders
• Privacy: Facebook is not able to track your users, since it’s just an <img> tag

How?

1. Setup the app: login to Facebook developer portal and create an app with the use case “Manage messaging & content on Instagram”
2. Add your account: go to “Roles” (under “App roles” in the sidebar) and add a user to Instagram testers
3. Getting the token: go to “API setup with Unified login” and under step 2, you can generate a token
4. Repeat: you have to repeat step 3 when the request starts failing
